The Stingray Mission
SWIM CENLA is dedicated to providing Central Louisiana with a competitive swim program which encourages youth of all ages and abilities to experience a culture of FUN, FAST swimming and develop to their highest potential.

SWIM CENLA was started in May 2014 by Coach Leslie "Joie" Stanley with 7 swimmers.  In just three months, the program grew to 30 swimmers.  SWIM CENLA has now grown to 85 swimmers of all ages and abilities.  Some team members have dreams of swimming in college, and some enjoy swimming for the positive social aspects and to stay in shape.  The vision of SWIM CENLA is for each and every swimmer to have the opportunity to make swimming whatever they want it to be for themselves and to provide a positive, fun and healthy environment for them to grow into happy, successful adults.  Swimming is a sport which teaches the value of delayed gratification, personal improvement and long term goal setting.  Our Goal is to assist every swimmer in developing life skills and confidence through the sport of swimming to achieve their personal goals.  Swimming is the "FUNNEST" sport and is for everyone!
